So Sunni’s name has been changed to Sparkles… there is a reason it all has to do with her English teacher and the first essay she had the kids write but enough said that Sunni is now Sparkles.
School has started with a bang… what with school, soccer, color guard and all of the other varies ‘Back-to-school’ nights, Student conferences and Booster meetings, I don’t seem to have a free moment. I can’t wait for it to start to calm down a little, get into the groove as it were. We generally hit a stride just about Nov. things hit a rhythm and we are able to do other things also. October tends to be one of the busiest months of the year, some people have other months we have Dec. I have no less than 10 birthdays one of them being mine… Plus the last few years it seems that we keep having a wedding to go to… Soccer games every weekend, and of course Halloween. Which in my household is a very important event.
Well I am lucky that Ms Bee would like to be a princess this year for Halloween, last year she was Boo (from Monsters Ink) this year she has chosen Belle, we are a very Disney family. Sparkles is thinking about being Bat Girl … if she can borrow leather pants from a friend of ours. Of course the boy child (13) has taken the view that Halloween is a day to pass like every other day. No need to dress up or anything he is perfectly happy to stay at home and hand out candy. AHHH teenage boys, UGH!! I thought the girls were moody!!
I always look forward to this time of year, the weather changing and so much going on but at the same time I dread this time of year, the weather changing and SO much going on.
